The event is at Galaxy 707, 475 North Service Rd. E. and will feature keynote speaker Margaret Trudeau. Trudeau, the former wife of the late Pierre Trudeau, Canada's 15th prime minister, has been an active mental health advocate for numerous years, speaking openly about battling mental health challenges. The mother of current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continues to remind others of the importance of nurturing the body, mind and spirit. The awards dinner, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will also hand out five awards recognizing local activists for their involvement in the community.
