It's being run out of Kerr Street Mission (KSM), at 485 Kerr St., and will operate three half-days a week, providing those with ABI in Oakville and the surrounding area with a place to participate in social recreation, functional rehabilitation, peer supports, and learn psychosocial adjustment skills. The goal is to furnish a procedure room (1W516), now named after the Filipino Social Club of Oakvile, located beside the Emergency Room. The club held two fundraising dinners and dances, and sold raffle tickets to achieve its objective. The evenings were highlighted with Hawaiian dancers and teenage soprano singer Josephine Paul Mancini.
