The Jim Chapman-coached team defeated the AA Mid State Mustangs 7-2 in the championship game. The win capped a weekend in which the Rangers outscored teams from Buffalo, Perinton and Altoona. Players on the team are Owen Chapman, Noah Reid, Leo Colabrese, Jack Henderson, Lucas Almeida, Zachary Diguilintonio, Gianluca Fortino, Ben Othen, Ethan Begin, Kai Chong, Blake Cooper, Matt MacPherson, Aidan Ashall, Zachary Maynard and Nathan Lipinski and goalies Braeden Dyck and Nathan Jesseau. Aiding Chapman behind the bench were assistant coaches Mike Reid, Craig Cooper and Paul Begin and trainer Tony Lipinski. Clouse, Edgar on OUA West Division all-star soccer teams Two Oakville soccer players have been named to the Ontario University Athletics women's soccer all-star team. Allison Clouse of the Guelph Gryphons is on the OUA West Division first team. The third-year defender was a standout on a unit that allowed just six goals this season, the fewest in the OUA. Tori Edgar of the University of Toronto was named to the second team. She posted a 1.36 goals-against average and four shutouts with the Varsity Blues, going 7-71 in 16 games. Her 1,387 minutes played was second highest in the league. The Holy Trinity graduate is now a four-time OUA all-star. She represented Canada at the World University Games in South Korea in 2015. Bull, a three-year captain on the Rutgers team, started all 18 games this season. She scored four goals, including an overtime winner in a 1-0 victory over St. Joseph's, and added six assists. She also had Rutgers' lone goal in last week's 3-1 loss to No. 3-ranked Maryland in the Big Ten tournament. The senior midfielder has started 72 games with the Scarlet Knights, scoring 15 goals, five of them game winners. Her 20 assists ranks seventh all-time for Rutgers. "Alyssa has been an integral part of this team for five years and has been a leader from Day 1," said Rutgers head coach Meredith Civico.
