The new borders will continue to cover the Bronte Creek housing development west of Bronte Road. However, the boundary expansion means the BCCRA will now include residences bound by Upper Middle Road West (south), Third Line (east) and Dundas Street West (north). To provide residents with an overview of the group' s activities, the BCCRA will be holding an information meeting Monday (Dec. 12) at St. Luke' s Community Centre, 3 1 1 4 Dundas St. W , from 7-9 p.m. The gathering will include a presentation from Milton Says No to CN -- a community group opposed to the proposed construction of a 400-acre CN intermodal facility. Refreshments will be provided. Since its inception five years ago, BCCRA has taken part in numerous community events including Earth Day cleanups, movie nights, charity golf tournaments and Oakville hospital fundraisers, among others. Those interested can visit www.bccra.ca to learn more about the BCCRA and to sign up for its bi-monthly newsletter for news on municipal affairs and upcoming community events.
