The accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. in a parking lot at Speers Road and Kerr Street. Oakville Fire, Halton paramedics and police responded to the scene. The woman, who is in her 70s, was taken to a Hamilton hospital with non-life-threating/lifealtering injuries, Halton police Sgt. Peter Bishop told the Oakville Beaver last Saturday (Dec. 10). Oakville Fire said firefighters used airbags to lift the truck and slide the woman out from underneath it. The woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.
