Gladys was the beloved wife of the late William Watson Dickson; loving mother of Sue and her husband John Stevens ot Oakville and much loved grandmother of David and Peter Stevens ol Toronto. Gladys is also survived by her sister Lulu (Bennie) McCormick of Vancouver. Gladys was born and grew up in and around Hamilton and lived there during the early years of her marriage. She lived for many years in Ottawa where she worked at the National Art Gallery, developed skill as a potter and silversmith, and volunteered in the community as a Girl Guide leader and District Commissioner. In retirement, Gladys travelled enthusiastically and extensively. She moved to Oakville in 1977 to be closer to her family and to share, to their mutual enjoyment, in the growing-up years of her grandsons. Sincere appreciation is extended to the staff ot the Extendicare Unit of the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for the loving care Gladys received over the last three years, and especially during the final days of her long lite. A family funeral was held in Oakville followed by burial at Pineland Cemetery in Ottawa.
