YangAccounting.ca V .,66 CPA IR S N E W YY@ YangAccounting.ca C R A R e-A ssessm en t I am aware you are my federal MP, but my con cerns can be addressed to you as well as my MPP here in Oakville. The MPPs from Queen's Park kept telling us the cap and trade on our gas bill would cost the average consumer about a cup of coffee. I'm not sure where they purchase their coffee, but my Timmy's or McDonald's doesn't cost me $26, which was the amount included on my January bill. And that was for 19 days. Of course, it' s very hidden on my bill, as usual for this government. When the gasoline was in creased, we were told how much it was going to be. Why can't it show on our gas and hydro bills? My hydro bill still tells me what the debt retire ment charge exemption saved me each month, and that debt has been paid already. A simple sentence: you paid $-- for cap and trade, would be sufficient. Why all the mystery? Now we are going to be faced with another carbon tax by the federal government. I'm beginning to have night mares over taxes by all governments. When will it stop?
