The Oakville group's 2 0 1 6 cleanup occurred at a record 4 7 locations throughout town, had 1 ,5 0 0 volunteers and removed 4 ,6 0 0 kilograms of waste, stated Dankowich. Canada Park, Twelve Mile Creek under the Queen Elizabeth W ay (Q E W ) bridge at Bronte Road, rural neighbourhoods around Trafalgar and Burnhamthorpe roads, trails near Glen Abbey and River Oaks recreation centres, Nottinghill Gate Park, Riverbank Way, Glenashton Drive and Trafalgar Road area, Sheridan College, W inston W oods, Deer Run Park, and Iroquois Shoreline Woods at Upper Middle Road and Grand Boulevard. "We want your site to be included on a large map of Oakville we are producing that will be prominently displayed in municipal facilities such as libraries, recreation centres and Town Hall throughout April," said Dankowich. "Oakville people want to do more for the environment and here is an easy opportunity for you to make a big difference for the environment and our community," Dankowich said.
