Jane will be greatly missed by her four loving children David Lewis (Jane Ravenshaw), Linda Cochrane (Greg Cochrane), Deborah Lewis Gray (Brian Gray) and Robert Lewis (Anita Lewis). She will also be missed by her cherished grandchildren, Laura Lewis, David and James Cochrane, Thomas and Robert Gray, and Ted Lewis. Jane grew up in Belleville, Ontario where she attended high school until grade 11. She then attended Branksome Hall in Toronto before she studied at Queen's University, where she graduated from Arts in 1952. Jane met Lou there, and they married in Belleville in 1954 where they lived, raising a family there until 1977. After a few years in Illinois for Lou's work, they moved to Oakville, Ontario, where Jane was very happy to be back with her children, all in Toronto. Jane was devoted to her children, grandchildren and husband. She was also a great animal lover, and was happiest when there was a dog in their home. She was also a gifted piano player, able to play any song by ear. She entertained her family, friends, and many residents of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. The best times for Jane were at the cottage on Kaminiskeg Lake with her family and dogs, where her children and grandchildren were always around to visit and enjoy many family cocktail parties and dinners overlooking their beautiful lake. Jane suffered from Alzheimer's for a few years, but was tenderly cared for by Lou and their family and wonderful caregiver for over 3 years, Papillon Absolor. Visitation was held at Kopriva Taylor Com m unity Funeral Home , on Friday, April 28. After a private family funeral, friends were invited to a celebration of Jane's life at the Oakville Golf Club on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Visit our guest book through www.koprivataylor.com MURTON, Jesse Grant February 16, 1990 - April 24, 2017 Our family has lost a wonderful son (Andrew and Carolyn Murton), brother (Ali Murton and Sean Willshaw), grandson (Ken and Tish Murton), June Melnik (deceased), William and Annabel Brett (deceased). His many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues will mourn his passing but will celebrate the life of a true team player. Jesse loved nothing better than being with his family celebrating a special event, hanging out with his friends in Ontario and British Columbia, listening to music, taking photographs, playing football or rugby or snowboarding at Whistler. His adventurous spirit will never be lost. We want to thank all the healthcare professionals at Princess Margaret Hospital, Credit Valley Hospital and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their kind, compassionate care. First child born to Brian and Joyce Jobling in Coventry, England, and moving to Pointe Claire, Quebec at the age of 7. In Quebec, David attended John Rennie High School (1973), Lower Canada College (69-71) and Bishops University, before moving to Toronto in 1980, and finally settling in the Bayview and Eglinton area. David will always be remembered for his quick wit, incredible sense of humour and brilliant mind. His passion for literature and music (60's and 70's rock), only surpassed by his love and devotion to his dogs, were clearly evident to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his brother Peter (Brenda), sisters Sally (O'Shea) and Anne-Marie (Tice) (Kevin), as well as his nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Rest in peace, dear brother. He will be missed by many, both personally and professionally.
