Awards were presented to the top films in a variety of categories with the Palme de Eddie awarded to the best overall film, And Then You B eca m e T he M oon by Evie Campbell of T.A. Blakelock High School in Oakville. This year the Palme de Eddie also came with a $ 1 ,0 0 0 scholarship. The festival celebrates student success in filmmaking by recognizing both technical and creative achievements. It provides a fo rum for students to comm unicate their ideas through the creative use of video. Following the presentation of awards, all of the winning entries were viewed on the big screen so everyone could view the films of other students.
