Forty-five-minute, staged readings will take place at the CMTP Festival of N ew Mu sicals October 13-15. Sheridan C ollege' s Canadian Music The atre Project (CMTP), under the leadership of Michael Rubinoff, associate dean, visual and performing arts, is an international centre of excellence for the developm ent of new m usi cals in Canada. Since its inception in 2011, 15 show s have been incubated and continue their develop m ent in various stages. Four shows have enjoyed professional premieres, including Come From Away, which opened on Broad way in 2017 and received a Tony Award nomination for Best Musical.
