The festival is a free one-day event from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. The event will have six stages, with more than 40 performances, plus multiple interactive art zones throughout the downtown during the day. The festival will feature mul tiple genres of music, delicious food and drink, visual art dis plays, performance art and crafts. The Trews Acoustic Show will headline on the TD Towne Square Stage. "We are very lucky to be part of a community that values cultural arts. The festival is highlighting and celebrating those values and we can't wait for the community to experience the event." Although Flo attended St. Berna dette Elementary School for Grades 1 to 3, she did not attend high school in Oakville. Her passion for music began at the age of six when her parents en rolled her in piano lessons while living in Oakville. "Since then my love and dedica tion to music has grown immense ly," Flo added. "I became interested in becoming a performer because I loved and still love the happiness and joy it brings into my life. I also admire and love the power music has to bring people together." Flo started vocal training after moving to Singapore at the age of 15. She has recently been going into the studio, finishing her debut al bum. She studied theatre in school as one of her electives for about six years and has had a few acting coaches throughout the years. Flo visits family and friends in Oakville as frequently as possible. She was most recently in Oakville last year during the summer to see her uncle, aunt and cousins, as well as her best friend. As for career goals, Flo hopes that one day she will be able to tour the world performing her songs and sharing her music, and will be able to star in musicals/movies. She also hopes that she will be able to collab orate with more of her musical idols and inspirations such as Shawn Mendes. "Performing brings me so much joy and happiness, that I will con tinue working incredibly hard to achieve my goals and dreams," she added.
