Joyce was the daughter of Cecilia Laframboise and the late Royden Moran. Joyce is survived by her husband John, daughter Jennifer, son Andrew (Nicole) and daughter Allison (Colin). She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Henry and Molly Roynon and Elodie Mealiffe. Joyce was born in North Bay, Ont. on February 6, 1948 and spent her formative years in Ottawa. She was a graduate of the University of Toronto's Physio and Occupational Therapy program. She retired as a senior manager at Erinoak Kids Centre for Treatment and Development in Mississauga. Joyce enjoyed many hobbies including gardening and playing bridge but most enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Joyce was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's Disease over twenty years ago and showed tremendous strength and courage dealing with the effects of this disease. A t Joyce's request, there will be no funeral but a celebration of her life is being planned for September. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the Parkinson's Society of Canada.
