The Oakville Wild boys will face the Windsor Wheels in one of two under-16 boys' Tier 2 semi finals on Sunday, Aug. 27 at Civic Stadium in Oshawa at 11 a.m. The winner will advance to the Ontario Cup final against either Mississauga Dixie or North York Tecnico Ambato, which face each other at 1 p.m. on the same day and location. The Cup final is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. at the Soccer Centre in Vaughan. Oakville advanced to the semi finals with a 1-0 victory over Mis sissauga OKD last weekend. Another Halton team is in the Cup semis. Burlington Bayhawks girls' U17s face Niagara Regional FALCO Sunday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. at the Hershey Centre, followed by Saltfleet Stoney Creek Red and London Whitecaps at 1 p.m. The Cup final is Sunday, Sept. 10 at the Soccer Centre. We've mathematically got the points, we've got six games left and if we win them we will win the division. I think it has become a two-horse race and it's going to be an exciting climax." Windsor, in fifth place but 23 points back of the Blue Devils, succeeded in getting some game experience for the many 16- and 17-year-olds in the line up, but they were overmatched.
