This w o rk w ill be starting m id N ovem ber on th e M o rriso n-W e d ge w oo d Flood Channel. The Emerald Ash Borer is a highly destructive, non-native beetle species w hich is causing ash trees to die throughout our com m unity; EAB will im pact all ash trees and cause m ost of them to die w ithin three years of being infected. Ash trees are found on C onservation Halton ow ned/m anaged property alongside all three of our urban channel system s and so they are being rem oved to proactively m anage any risk they m ight pose as dead trees close to our neighbours. N eighbours o f these flo o d channels w ill see w o rk crew s rem oving ash trees over th e next fe w w eeks. The event shed light on how digital technology solutions such as cloud data analytics, artificial intelligence (Al), telemedicine,Internet-of-Things (loT) and wearable accessories are transforming delivery of healthcare services.
