"I've had different types of coaches from the time I was four until I was 18," he said. "They've taught me different styles and I've played different positions and that's made me a more dy namic player." Carenza puts those skills to use as a striker, a position he be lieves allows him to be the most creative. The Loyola student chose Waterloo because of the poten tial he sees in the team. "It's an up-and-coming team and I'm getting in there at a crit ical time. I want to be part of the group that make Waterloo a se rious threat in the OUA," he said. "I know when I look back in five years I'll be super satisfied at what we've accomplished." Need a Professional High Cnergy www.highenergytranspert.com 416-684-2419 Voted BEST MOVER in Oakville. Oakville Beaver plus hst Asia Navalta played basket ball and volleyball growing up, but was always drawn to soccer. "It just came more naturally to me. It was always fun to prac tise and pick up stuff," said the Holy Trinity student who com mitted to Brock University. Navalta, who has always en joyed watching and analyzing sports, said the school's sports management program was a major selling point. Robyn Hopkins also likes breaking the game down and hopes to coach when she gradu ates from Wilfrid Laurier, where she'll study kinesiology beginning this fall. "I've been playing from a young age and the coolest thing (about soccer) is you don't have to be playing at a high level," she said. "It's a game that's easy to play but hard to master." As a centre midfielder, Hop kins enjoys being involved in all aspects of the game. "I like being able to support from the back end and move the ball forward," said the M.M. Robinson student, "and on de fence, you can win the ball back for your team." U N I T E D ALL ARE WELCOME Church school and nursery services are available during the service.
