The snowâ€"clearing budget, which Council must approve Feb. 22nd, has been set at $1,432,000 for 1994. Last year‘s cleanâ€"up cost the Town $1,629,500. That figâ€" ure would have climbed a lot higher, Green explained, had Oakville been dumped on in December. Fortunately we were spared and â€" thanks to some juggling â€" the 1993 snow clearing budget was bumped up to accommodate the heavy precipitation. . "This );ear is not quite as severe as last year but more significant than previous years," said Green.
