A private home tutor in Oakville, 24-year-old Dan- ielle Speck, was arrested on Wednesday, June 5 and charged with two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference. The offences are alleged to have taken place be- tween May and June. Speck is currently em- ployed by the Niagara dis- trict school board as a sec- ondary school supply teacher. Speck is also con- tracted by Beyond the Classroom. Additionally, she is employed at Appleby College in Oakville as a camp counsellor. The charges laid to date are related only to the ac- cused's role as a private home tutor. She was held for a bail hearing.
