Words cannot express our gratitude to 100 Guys Who Care Oakville for raising $18,000 for Kerr Street Mission at their Q2 Event. Georgia, from Bank on Bellies reached out to the group on behalf of KSM in her continued efforts to help feed the community. Bank on Bellies is a grass roots initiative started by Georgia, a 12 year old resident of Oakville. Since partnering up with KSM, Bank on Bellies has collected more than 6700 non-perishable food items and $24,136 for fresh produce, all to support food security for our Kerr Street families. With over 450 families using the KSM food market each month, it is essential that shelves are stocked and available to those in need. That works out to approximately 800-850 individuals per month - with 500+ people benefiting each week. Last year we estimate that more than $500,000 worth of food was distributed through the food market and that was not enough! We have been doing a lot of work to increase our capacity to distribute more fresh food and protein - increasing size of the market, new refrigeration freezer unit and more staff to help with food logistics. Support from Bank on Bellies and 100 Guys Who Care is vital to making a difference to the individuals and families that depend on our Kerr Street Mission Food Programs. For that we are truly grateful. If you want to learn more about how you can support or become involved with our youth programs at KSM, please reach out. Thank you again for all your support. Equipping different rooms with compact control units, ductless air systems allow for flexible temperature control and optimal energy use. Mini split units eliminate the need for ductwork, and thus avoid complications regarding pressure leaks. Location zoning Looking to purchase a ductless air conditioning system, it is important to consider model options. Single-zone ductless units are specifically designed to cool individual rooms, and can offer targeted temperature solutions for open- concept lofts. Multi-zone air conditioners are designed to cool multiple rooms at once, and allow for greater temperature control across select zones. Options available for consumers include dual zone, triple zone, and quad zone air con- ditioning units. Energy efficiency Ductless air conditioners reduce en- ergy waste by controlling and customizing temperatures across separate rooms: A/C can be easily turned off for rooms that are not in use, and temperatures can be adjusted accordingly.
