Late September will likely see one stretch of the hot and humid condi- tions southern Ontarians have experienced over the past few weeks. But then it'll be time to take those sweaters out of storage. That according to Oak- ville-based The Weather Network, which officially released its autumn out- look Monday. "October will feel a lot more like fall. It'll be a bit of a shock to the system (after warm end to Sep- tember)," said meteorolo- gist Brad Rousseau. Along with tempera- tures slightly below the season average - which may initially feel colder after a largely muggy end to summer - Octo- ber could be a bit more active than usual on the storm front.front.f By contrast, November should be quiet mild - with warmer and drier conditions than normal. Said Rousseau, "It's looking to be a very pleasant month." With a muggy wrap-up to summer and start to fall, southern Ontario residents will have to wait a little longer than usual for the leaves to changefor the leaves to changef colour. While still too early to offer specifics, Rousseau said initial indications are that southern Ontario will experience a pretty "typi- cal" Canadian winter when it comes to snow and temperatures.
