Representatives from the Kerr Street Canadian Tire announced on Tues- day, Aug. 28, that they have made donations of $10,000 each to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton and Ham- ilton, and the Lighthouse for Grieving Children. The donations come as a result of successful fund- raising efforts at the store during its Jumpstart Month Campaign in June. Canadian Tire officials said supporting their local communities has been core to Canadian Tire for the past 95 years. "We are so fortunate to be a part of the Oakville community.
