Halton police are inves- tigating following a break- in to a Rockingham Drive home on Wednesday, Oct. 24. At some point during the day, someone forced open the front door of the residence, which is located in the Ninth Line and Up- per Middle Road area. Police said the intruder stole purses and jewelry. No one was home at the time of the break-in. No suspect description is available. Police are also looking for the individual responsi- ble for breaking into a Summit Ridge Drive home in the Dorval Drive and Up- per Middle Road area on Monday, Oct. 22. At some point during the day, someone entered the residence through an unlocked backdoor, police said. The suspect stole jewel- ry, cash and electronics. No one was home at the time of the break-in. No suspect description is available. Officers are also investi- gating a break-in to a home on Blacksmith Lane in the Third Line and Upper Mid- dle Road area, which oc- curred Wednesday, Oct. 24. At some point during the day, someone forced open a rear main-floor win- dow, police said. The intruder stole cash, jewelry and silverware. No one was home at the time of the break-in.
