At some point during the day, someone forced open the front door of the residence, which is located in the Ninth Line and Up- per Middle Road area. Police said the intruder stole purses and jewelry. No one was home at the time of the break-in. No suspect description is available. Police are also looking for the individual responsi- ble for breaking into a Summit Ridge Drive home in the Dorval Drive and Up- per Middle Road area on Monday, Oct. 22.
