The driver was trapped in her vehicle in the 8:45 p.m. crash on North Ser- vice Road at Eighth Line. The forks of the construc- tion equipment pierced the windshield of the vehicle. Oakville firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free the woman. A passenger was uninjured. The driver was rushed by Halton paramedics to a Toronto trauma centre. Halton police closed North Service Road in the area of the crash for their investigation. Oakville firefighters use the Jaws of Life to extricate the trapped female driver of this Dodge Charger after it collided head-on with a front-end loader on the North Service Road at Eighth Line. The rescue of the vehicle's driver took approximately 20 minutes, she was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre with reported serious injuries.
