The majority of people who are in the best third of their lives experience pain when they walk. Although life expectancy is fast approaching 100 years, the range of motion that people can achieve constantly decreases from the age of retirement onwards. Experiencing foot, knee, hip or back pain makes it harder to go jogging, go on city breaks, take walks or play with the grandchildren. But it doesn't have to be this way. A weak foot musculature is the main cause of: • Back pain • Knee- and hip damage • Vein disorders • Foot diseases such as hallux and heel spur • Numerous other complaints Walk yourself fit In the kybun shoe, standing and walking on the elastic, springy surface, distributes the weight evenly and allows the foot maximum freedom of movement. This protects the joints, trains the muscles and balances postures. Walking on the elastic springy kybun sole: • Allows a natural distribution of pressure on the foot • Protects the joints • Relaxes and relieves the back • Activates the leg and vein circulation • Trains the deep muscles Sale Ends January 9, 2019 Hurry in for Best Selection *Some styles may be limited.*Some styles may be limited. For many, one resolu- tion should focus on debt. Managing debt is the sin- gle most important finan- cial issue many Canadi- ans face. It's hard to break bad habits. Every year the ma- jority of people who make New Year's resolutions fail to achieve them. Iffail to achieve them. Iff you've struggled with a debt resolution in the past, break it into manage- able chunks. STOP USING DEBT. Resist the urge to buy stuff you don't need. Your car might still be good for another year. And do you really need a new smart- phone? Pay with cash instead of credit. Studies show people spend less when they pay with cash. Hand- ing over cash makes you think of the cost of an item more than when using a credit card. REORGANIZE DEBT The interest rate on an overdue credit card can be in the area of 20 per cent annually. Consider using a line of credit on your home to pay off credit card debt. A line of credit can cost well un- der five per cent annually. Please be aware if you transfer debt from your credit card to free up your ability to spend more on credit, it will only add to your debt woes. 3. DEVELOP A PLAN TO PAY OFF DEBT How much of your monthly cash flow can be directed to reducing debt? Set goals, write them down and then start. Dis- cussing your debt reduc- tion strategy with some- one can help you be ac- countable. Perhaps that person will be trying to manage their debt also. NOW, LET'S LOOK AT THE BUSINESS OF DEBT. Banks and financial companies make billions of dollars annually by charging consumers in- terest on outstanding loans. It's highly profit- able for them to entice you to overspend on things you don't need. Non-payment of debt brings consequences. New Year's Day brings with it the optimism of fresh beginnings. Wel-fresh beginnings. Wel-f come 2019 by taking man- ageable steps to control your debt.
