She was born February 12, 1924 in Croydon, England to Ronald and Edith Panniers. She married her long-time friend and love, Jack Sheen, in April 1946 who preceded her in death in 1993. Carrying her memory on are her daughters Pauline (Tony) Mihok, Elisabeth (Jim) Morley, Susan (Wayne) Schigol; her grandchildren Marika Mihok (Jakub Majewski), Amanda Morley and Derek Morley; and great-grandaughter Natalia Majewska. Joan was a dedicated mother and wife. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She was wise, cultured and made people feel loved around her.
