Oakville MP John Oli- ver visited Media Resourc- es Inc., at its Cornwall Road facility this summer to announce a FedDev On- tario investment of $1.45 million in the local sign manufacturing company. Media Resources Inc., provides large format printing, digital LED dis- plays, 3D fabrication and sign installation services to the billboard, advertis- ing, commercial sign, sports and building sec- tors. The FedDev funding will allow the company to retrofit its Oakville facili- ty by acquiring advanced manufacturing equipment and automation technolo- gies to support in-house production of the vital components of digital LED displays. Until now, the company has had to source these components from outside of Canada. "This FedDev Ontario funding represents an im-funding represents an im-f portant investment in Ca- nadian-made products and services," said Oliver. "The Government of Canada is pleased to sup- port Media Resources Inc., as it expands operations, further develops its full-further develops its full-f service capabilities and strengthens the local workforce."
