Fitzgerald, Emma (Died)

After a long period of failing health Mrs. Emma Fitzgerald, 51 Trafalgar St., Bronte, died on Friday at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. She was in her 95th year.
Born in Ireland, Mrs. Fitzgerald came to Canada in early childhood. For 25 years she lived in Chapleau and Nicholson, in Northern Ontario, coming to Bronte to live with her daughter, Mrs. C. V. Carpenter, in 1946. She was an Anglican.
Mrs. Fitzgerald’s husband, Thomas Fitzgerald, died about 40 years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Carpenter, and a son, Cecil Fitzgerald, Bronte. A private funeral Is being held at 2 p.m. today from the funeral chapel of S.S. Russell and Son to Oakville Cemetery. Rev. J. H. Bielby, of St. Luke's Church.
