Yasser Ahmed Albaz, 51, was in Egypt on a business trip in February 2019. His daughter, Amal Ah- med Albaz, says he had met with a client and was at the airport preparing to return home when his Canadian passport was suddenly confiscated, and he was ar- rested by the authorities. Since that time, there has been no trial, no charg- es have been laid and fami- ly members say even Al- baz's lawyers have not been given any indication of why their client was arrested.
