The annual tradition promoting the benefits of active, healthy lifestyles is sponsored by Genworth Canada. Participants can take part in a variety of classes including Bollywood Dancing, yoga and Beach Ball Volleyball or visit Oakville Museum to learn about local history. Families can enjoy Sto- rytime at select Oakville Public Library branches; get their picture taken on a Zamboni at River Oaks and Glen Abbey community centres and Joshua's Creek Arenas; watch the Oakville Blades play the Burlington Cougars at Six- teen Mile Sports Complex; and take part in free swim- ming and skating at partic- ipating pools and arenas. The DuffleBag Theatre Company will also present Beauty and the Beast at Queen Elizabeth ParkQueen Elizabeth ParkQ Community and Cultural Centre. Tickets can be pur- chased for $5 in advance at oakvillecentre.ca or by calling 905-815-2021. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $5.
