New certificates added daily The Town of Oakville has announced that it will tem- porarily lay off an estimated 800 part-time, casual and temporary staff effective Monday, April 6. The layoffs were an- nounced Friday, April 3, the same day the Town noted that due to the ongoing CO- VID-19 crisis the Town is cancelling all spring recre- ation and culture programs and cancelling sports field and facility rentals until the end of May.
