Halton police Media Relations Officer Ryan Anderson reported there were 380 vehicle crashes in Halton for April and May 2020. This is 70.6 per cent fewer crashes than a year prior, when 1,292 were reported in Halton during the same period. While Anderson declined to attribute this change to fewer people being out and about due to COVID-19, no other explanation was offered. The trend was also not limited to Halton. Sgt.
