Born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1924, he emigrated to Canada in 1948. He received his CA from McGill University, went to work for Clarkson Gordon and joined Pepsi Cola Canada in 1956, where he had a stellar career that eventually saw him in the role of President of the Canadian operation. From there he joined the Ontario government, as General Manager of Ontario Place, and prior to retiring, he was Vice President, Finance at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. On retirement, he continued to work, indulging his love of gardening by joining the team at Islington Nurseries in Etobicoke. He and Mona raised 3 strong and independent women - Patricia (Alex Simard), June (Henry Benzoni), and Kathleen (the late Henry Makenbach) with much love and laughter. Some of the family's happiest times were on Dunrae Avenue in the Town of Mount Royal and the entire summers spent in Cape Cod in their home there. He will be so missed by his daughters, by his grandchildren Danielle (Rob Griffin), Sarah (Karl Giersch), Scott (Caroline Bolland) and Brian (Nora Jakab), his great- granddaughters Heidi and River, as well as much-loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless dear friends. He was an avid curler (Town of Mount Royal Curling Club in Montreal, the Boulevard Club and the Granite Club in Toronto), a great tennis player for many years, and loved to watch golf and NFL football. A voracious reader, he passed his love of books to his children, and with a quick mind, aced the New York Times crossword puzzle every morning. Our special thanks for their compassionate care go to Dr. Youssef and the nursing staff on 6 south at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Donations in Jack's name can be made to Crohn's and Colitis Canada. A celebration of a life well-lived by a man well-loved will be planned for later in the year. Her beloved daughter, Connie and granddaughter, Britney, were by her side at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, where she passed peacefully. A mother of six children, grandmother of eighteen grandchildren, 15 great-grand- children and two great-great- grandchildren, Inger was a homemaker supporting her husband Willy in his career of establishing and operating Jensen Tire for almost 20 years, until his passing in 2004. Born in Denmark, Inger married Willy Jensen (aka The Love of her Life) on May 19, 1955. Before coming to Canada they lived in Denmark and Australia, embarking on a world cruise in 1972, and arriving in their new home of Canada in 1973. Despite all of her achievements and adven- tures, Inger's greatest joy was entertaining and cooking for everyone. Inger devoted her life to her children and was always known for her world class baking, and spotless home, even with all those kids! She created a home that was filled with warmth, humour, love and delicious cooking. We will miss her greatly. Inger will be laid to rest December 31, 2020 with her husband Willy and son John at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. She is survived by her loving children Connie McCulloch-Jensen (Shawn McCulloch), Bill Jensen (Sylvia Jensen), Boy Jensen, and Marinus Jensen (Kerri Jensen) in addition to all of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Inger's funeral was held at 12:30 EST December 31st. It was invite only for the Glen Oaks funeral, however everyone was welcome to attend virtually. MONCRIEFF, John Ross ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Ross Moncrieff. Ross passed away in his sleep the morning of December 22, at the young age of 50. Ross spent most of his years in Oakville and was well known by many in the Bronte area and beyond. Always friendly and outgoing, he made friends wherever he went. For the past 10 years, Ross has been a member of L'Arche Hamilton. He joined this community initially in the day program, where his talents as an artist were instantly recognized. Here he received ongoing encouragement to grow and to achieve his numerous dreams and goals. He felt such a deep connection that a permanent move into Holton House was a beautiful and easy transition. Ross was predeceased by his parents (David and Emily) and his older brother (Scott). Ross will be forever lovingly remembered by the L'Arche community, particularly the Hamilton chapter, as well as his three adoring sisters Karen (Jim), Kim (Ron) and Kirsty (David), his niece Sara and nephews Cale, Cory, Curtis and Sean. He also has many cousins and extended family. There will be a virtual celebration of life on January 13, 2021 at 4 p.m. EST. Lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 50 years, Donalda (née McEwen), and lovingly remembered by his children Ted Jr., Garth (Dawn), James and Libby (Alastair). Dearly loved by his eight grandchildren: Sean, Brynn, Liam, Shelby (Jordan), Amber, Rachael, Kendra and Ailsa. Brother of Graham Willis and Hugh Willis. Faithful to God and his family, Ted was known for his generosity both of his time and his gifts. His compassion extended beyond his family to his church, neighbours and volunteering at Bibles for Missions thrift store (the resident silver polisher). Ted enjoyed life everyday whether on an exhilarating motorcycle ride, daily coffee and bun at the local Tim Horton's, weekly exercise at the bowling alley with friends or dinners and long chats with family. Ted was 90 years young and lived a full and happy life. His favorite saying was, "Never give up" and he lived his life accordingly. Visitation with family was held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 and Friday, January 1, 2021. A Celebration of Life and faith service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was a sweet, caring, loving mum (spelt the British way!) to both of us -- Keith Winn and Jill MacInnes; adored and adoring wife of Eric Winn; cherished sister of Glynis Ludley; doting nanna to Morgan and Tait MacInnes and Summer (Ramage) Winn; and wonderful mother-in-law to Jennifer Ramage and Neil MacInnes. More than anything she loved her family, enjoying family tea with lots of laughter, and taking wonderful care of our dad, keeping him on the straight and narrow. Though she missed her garden terribly in recent years, she made many friends among the staff and residents at Amica retirement home in Bronte, where there were many stories of raucous, hilarious dinner conversations at their shared dining table. It is no surprise hers was the merriest and loudest table. As there will be no visitation or service due to COVID-19, we invite friends to share a memory or leave a message of condolences at www.koprivataylor.com EXPERIENCE MATTERS Probate 905.639.1222 Call The Law Firm of Green Germann Sakran OBITUARIES There is a link death cannot sever, love and remembrance last forever.
