LEADBEATER, Marie Claire Aurore Micheline (nee Simard) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Micheline passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of John. Loving mother of David (Jade) and Peter (Gillian). Cherished grandmother of Seth, Tyler and Chloe. Survived by sister Denise, and nieces Anne- Marie and Geneviève. She was born in Trois Rivieres and attended the University of Sherbrooke graduating as a Dietician. She did her internship at Toronto Western Hospital, prior to working at hospitals in Montreal. She met John in England while touring Europe. When John had completed his post degree work, he moved to Canada and subsequently they married in Montreal. Work took them to Ontario with David and Peter. Micheline was a loving, generous lady, devoted to her family. She did years of volunteer work with Schools, VON and Meals on Wheels. She always had an interest in travel, the Arts, cooking and gardening. She will be sadly missed. Cremation will be taking place. Due to the ongoing pandemic, private family services will be held at a later date. Marsman, CET, on December 27, 2020 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Born in den Haag, Netherlands, Albert has survived all his five siblings. He is survived by his children Jack (Lorraine), Joan (Peter), Brenda (Ian), grandchildren Vanessa, Nicholas, Philip, Ben, Kyle, Xavier, and Aidan, great- grandchildren Sienna and Keira and broader extended family including Nikki and Constance, their families and numerous nieces and nephews. Albert was the beloved husband of Johanna Marsman who predeceased him in 2015 after 61 years of marriage. They immigrated to Canada together in 1954 after surviving World War II. He served his country in the army and met his future wife while assisting in the liberation of Indonesia from the Japanese occupation. Albert worked all over the world in petroleum, steel and mining industries. In Canada he attended night school and became a Certified Engineering Technician. He was proud to become a Can- adian and was an avid skier. Albert and Johanna settled in Oakville in 1958. Albert loved to celebrate his birthday every June with friends and family. The gatherings often included Indonesian food. Albert established a strong comm- unity of Dutch and Indonesian friends. These people became our extended family. In his later years Albert was active with the August 15 1945 Foundation. Albert's warm personality and his great love of family and friends brought many people toward him. We will always remember his big heart, loyalty, generosity and his hard-working ethic and loving personality. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Milda is reunited with her beloved husband Vincent who passed away in 1991. Milda was the cornerstone of her family and will be missed by her children Sunny (George) Russell, Peter (Colette) and Tony (Lonette). She was the proud Grandmere/Mociute of Robin, John, Karen, Katie, Kellie, Vincent and Anthony. Born in Lithuania Milda came to Canada in 1948. She loved any chance to talk about the experiences she had throughout her life. Milda was well informed and always had time to talk politics. Gifted with a needle her passion was working on all types of needlepoint projects to share with family and friends. Milda loved to sing and enjoyed singing in the choir at church for over 17 years. Special thanks to the caregivers who helped Milda at home and those at Wyndham during her brief time there. Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no Funeral Service at this time.
