Frances and her husband George lived for many years on Saxon Road in Oakville. Following George's passing in 1994, Frances moved to Deep River in 2000 to be closer to Bob and Diana. She moved into the North Renfrew Long-Term Care Centre in 2015. Following her wishes and considering the current pandemic, she will be interred next to George in St. Jude's Cemetery in Oakville in a private service. Ron was best known for three things; His devoted and beautiful wife, Lady Di, their two sons, Christopher and Michael and their families and his positive and long-lasting impact on the Chiropractic profession. Dad loved his work. It was his passion. He knew his calling at a young age and was meant to be a Chiropractor. He had healing hands and a healing tone. He knew that his profession needed a guide and a leader. He held many positions in the chiropractic world from President of the OCA, which lead to many countless hours working with the CMCC and then moved to the role of the President of the CCA at a national level. He was given the distinction of "Chiropractor of the Year" and soon he followed his calling to become VP of the CCE, a global accreditation group whose mandate was to standardize the education in all of the chiropractic colleges and universities around the world. All this while still running his practice in Stoney Creek, which he did for 50 Years. When dad retired he took the remainder of his life to spend more time with his family; with Michael and Anka and their two children Sloane and Jackson and with Christopher and Shannon and their kids Madison, Chelsea, Abby and Finn. He learned how to slow down and focus on all the excellent adventures with family and friends. He took great pleasure from them and always had fabulous stories to share to anyone who would listen. He continued to play tennis as long as he could, and then it became a reason for him and the tennis "boys" to get together. Like all the things he was involved with, he built wonderful friendships that lasted his lifetime. She was tragically taken from us as an innocent victim of this dreadful pandemic. Mary was born in 1947 in Guangzhou, China. She attended university in Hong Kong, where she studied World Literature. She boldly immigrated to Canada at the age of 27, settling in Oakville, Ontario. She then retrained and worked as a corporate accountant for the majority of her career. On August 28, 1978, she married Mike Chun Kin Yeung. Together, they worked tirelessly to provide every opportunity to their only son, Jeffrey. Mary was a lover of Shakespeare, classical music, and was an avid fan of prodigious violinist, Joshua Bell. As a respectable Chinese mother, she pushed her son through piano lessons, for which he was (in hindsight) extremely grateful. Though, her true devotion was to her family and those closest to her. All those who knew Mary were touched by her generosity and selflessness. She found the greatest fulfilment in spoiling her loved ones (including the four-legged). In recent years, she came to discover the joys of traveling and relished in many voyages with her family and friends. Her adventures brought her all around the globe. In 2018, we were fortunate enough to travel as a family to Halifax, Strasbourg, and Hong Kong for the weddings of her son and two nieces. Her speech at her son's wedding, which she promised to be short and sweet, was more the latter than the former, and is still recounted for its comedic flair and demonstration of her enormous pride for "my Jeffrey". Soon after, Mary was blessed with a grandson, Jonah. He proudly displays her love and talent when wearing the bespoke hand-knitted sweaters she made for him. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Susie and Chin Hung, and elder sister, Helen. She is survived by her husband, Mike, son, Jeffrey (Erin), grandson, Jonah, brother, Peter (Rebecca), sister and best friend, Margaret, nieces, Kay (Ben) and Lynn (Mathieu), grandniece, Margot, and many other extended family members.
