Predeceased by hus- band William Lewis (1984) and George Alcorn (2002). She is greatly missed by her daughters Lynda Brooks (Art 2014), Karen Hagemans (John) and Cathy Coulson (Wayne) and her step-son Michael Alcorn and his family Kim, Katlyn, Kyle and Ryan. Cherished grandmother of Michael (Robin), Jen, Erica (Carl), Mark (Darlene), Robert (Mary) and Ron (Shari). She always enjoyed being with her great-grandchildren Emily, Natalie, Carly, John, James, Hailee, Grace, Claire and Aubrey. She will be missed by her lifelong friend and sister-in -law Agnes Sullivan, and many nieces and nephews. On May 24, 2021, Betty was peacefully reunited with her beloved husband Terry (2010). Much loved mother of Peter (Wanda), Phil (Ala) and Jeffrey (Ann). Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to all of the many children. Betty is survived by her brother Jack Housden and sister Esther Farley. She will be deeply missed by all of her nieces, nephews and friends. Betty and Terry emigrated to Canada from England in the 1950's where they settled in Oakville and began to build their life. Betty was involved in many organizations and community life. She loved to write, and published a novel titled, "Jessica" which was a story about her life in England during WW2. Betty lived a full life full of love and passion. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Angel was strong, selfless and unstoppable with anything and everything involving her babies. She sacrificed her life to give her children the best the world had to offer, always putting herself last. She spent the unknowingly last year of her life living as large as she could, treating herself and allowing her children to honour her right back. Her endless love will be felt forever. Angel was loved by all who knew her and had unique relationships with everyone. It is because of Angel that we know what strength, love and resilience really means, she will always be remembered with extra,extra love.
