They're a chance to throw ideas into the universe and hope that our biggest wishes come true. At Food for Life, we dream of filling the fridges of our friends and neighbours in Halton and Hamilton, ensuring that they have access to GOOD nutritious food. We know that the GOOD we do is because of you! More than 75% of our budget comes from generous donations from members of the community. Your belief, trust, and financial support allow us to serve more than 3200 households each week. In Oakville, our community fridge at the Oakville Public Library's Central Branch has been serving over 20 Oakville households each week since December 2020. It offers convenient and anonymous food access for friends and neighbours struggling with food insecurity. A new year is a time for renewal, but just because the calendar changes, doesn't mean the challenges of those facing food insecurity go away. We want to ensure that we're there to help. This Giving Tuesday, we want to take the time to thank those who give generously to Food for Life, both through generous donations and volunteering their time. You ensure that we have enough GOOD food to meet the needs of friends and neighbours who turned to us for support. GOOD food BUILDS community. GOOD Food BUILDS Community THANK YOU FOR GIVING Learn.
