Cockenden--Warburton A profusion of white lilacs in the chancel of St. Jude's church Saturday afternoon formed the setting when' Barbara' Warburton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Warburton, became the bride of William Charles Ockenden, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ocken- den. Rev. F. H. Howson officiated and Mf. Evans played the wed. ding music. Given in marriage by her fa- ther, the bride wore a gown of chalk white nylon marquisette, The fitted bodice featured a yolk of chantilly lace ~ and inserts of the same lace entered the full skirt. Her veil of bridal tulle was arranged from a halo of apple blossoms and she carried a cas. cade bouquet of white sweet peas centered with an orchid. Miss Jean Nicol was the maid of honor and bridesmaids were sisters Nora and Dorothy War- burton.' The bride's trio of at- tendants were gowned identically in white nylon marquisette over mauve taffeta. They wore white bouvardia headdress and carried yellow roses. Howard Ryan, Tor- onto, was, groomsman while ush- ers were, Tom Warburton, Belle- ville, and Norman Bardell. At the reception at Riverside Lodge, Mrs. Warburton received wearing an ensemble of rapture roses. Mrs. Ockenden chose an afternoon dress of dusty pink crepe, with white accessories and a corsage of sweetheart roses. For travelling, the bride wore a suit/ of Honey beige gabardine with navy accessories and an or- chid corsage. PHILLIPS--CRASHLEY One of the season's most pic- turesque weddings Saturday in St. Church, when Doris Mae Crashley, daugh- ter of Mr. and' Mrs. J. W.
