The local doctors are Dr. John C. Worrell, obstetrician, Dr. Arthur E. Ross, and Dr. Hinds. Dr. C. K. Stevenson and Dr. H. W. McCutcheon, Milton, and Dr. John S.: Smith, Port Credit are being admitted as members of the associate staff. The new appointments were made ,by the board of governors at regular meeting Thursday evening, on recommendation of Dr. BE. P. Soanes, chief of staff. "We are very pleased to have Milton doctors apply for mem- bership," said Dr. Soanes, who explained that the Milton hos- pital had been temporarily clos- ed due to a shortage of nurses. Dr. Soanes stated that two appli- cations from New Toronto doc- tors had been received, but rec- ommended that these not be ac- cepted at present, due to lack of adequate hospital space. "We feel doctors in Oakville, Port Credit and Halton county should be looked after first," id Dr. Soanes "Until a new wing is built I don't think we should take on any more doctors from the Toronto vicini E. Lauder, who was dele- gated to confer with the board of parks management regarding im- provements to the vacant land east of the hospital, reported that the board was financially unable to assume any more res- ponsibilities this year.
