Moat, died on Thursday, Sept. 6, at her home on Douglas Ave. She was 88 years of age. A native of Oromo, Ont. the late Mrs. Moat was. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Hall, pioneer residents of that district. Following her marriage 64 years ago she came to Qak- ville to live, but five years later removed with her husband to Toronto. About thirty years ago Mr. and Mrs. Moat returned to Oakville to make their home. Mrs. Moat was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Besides her husband _ she is survived by a sister, Miss Minnie Hall, Orono, and a niece, Miss Bertha Gillam, Oakville. = A funeral service was conduct ed at the funeral chapel of S.
