MURTON & EVANS Architects 28 James Street South, Hamilton, Ontario | Continue Policing (Continued from Page 1) peared as a deputation before council to ask where the new vil- lage stood in regard to planning activities in the district. The reeve told council that the vil- lage might be in a position to give water service to property- owners in the adjacent parts of the township when the new sys- tem was installed. Councillor R. C. A. Cumber- land, off the Oakvifle-Trafalgar Planning Board, said that the village could either form its own planning board or become a sub- gang area on the other board. was agreed to discuss the mat- i in detail at the Oakville-Tra- falgar Board's meeting Wednes- day evening. The deputation asked that the township continue to collect taxes in Bronte and maintain the village streets until the end of the present year. Councillor Mar- shall was of the opinion that the township should not pay for pol- icing the village for the remain- der of the year. Reeve Wickson pointed out that confusion would be avoided if the township as- sumed the policing and tax col- lecting until the year's end, which it was agreed to do. EEE, Come in...
