Located at Dorval Crossing East 200-240 North Service Rd W, Oakville The Town of Oakville is offering more permit applications online to help resi- dents get their business done easier and faster. As of Monday, April 25, development en- gineering permits for things like residen- tial rebuilds, pool installations and up- grades to driveways are available on the town's online services page at townofoak- ville.force.com/ServiceOakville/s/ under "Construction and Renovations." On May 16, sign permits and noise ex- emption permits (for events, construction, filming, and so on) will be available on the same page under the "Sign & Noise Per- mits" section. Town staff also noted that later this year, planning and development-related applications will transition to an entirely online process. "We are working toward making Oak- ville a digitally connected community, im- proving the ease, speed and experience in accessing town services," said Oakville Mayor Rob Burton. "As we continue to enhance and transi- tion many services online, it reflects our commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and service excellence for our citizens and the local economy." Individuals who require support with their online applications can contact Ser- viceOakville at 905-845-6601 for assistance. Town staff said these enhancements complement the work that began last year, when building permits and inspection bookings were made fully online. They also said the town would use feed- back on the new process to guide future improvements to the online applications.
