Andrea was predeceased by her cherished partner Anthony (Tod) Clarke, her parents Jack and Blanche Odell, and her brother Norman Edward (Ted) Odell. She is survived by her son Phil Brennen (Sarah) of Toronto, daughter Carla Brennen (John) of Oakville, stepdaughter Hanna Clarke (Chris) of Tofino, her cherished grandchildren Alice and Lucy (Phil and Sarah), Kira (Hanna and Chris), and was "Mama Bear" to Amy and Dave. Andrea is also survived by her sister Jackie Jones (Pat) and her two brothers, John Odell (Marjorie) and Bill Odell (Irene). Andrea is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Andrea was the most kindhearted and loving soul who always thought of others before herself. She tended to be very private in life and chose not to share her burdens with others, however she was more than willing to lend an ear or give a hug to those in need. She loved animals and was passionate about giving them the best lives possible. She had a flare for drawing and painting; she loved to sing and dance and had a wicked sense of humor. In another life, she surely would have been an artist or an entertainer. Andrea was a true fighter and overcame most obstacles that were thrown in her path. She handled the most difficult trials with grace and calm. She will be held in our hearts forever. At this time the family would like to give its sincere thanks to Dr. Hirte and the team at the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton, as well as the staff and volunteers at Ian Anderson House in Oakville for everything they did for Andrea/DeeDee/Mom. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Ian Anderson House in tribute. A memorial visitation will be held at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Rd W in Oakville, on June 24th from 2-5pm. Please note: The family has requested that guests at the visitation wear masks.
