Marjorie was born in Sarnia, Ontario and moved to Oakville, Ont. with her family in 1957. She loved family including her husband of 70 years, John (Jack) Whitnell, daughter Jacqueline Walsh and sons Larry Whitnell and Tim Whitnell. Marj also adored her 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren often showering them with gifts and home-made baked treats. She enjoyed her many vacations to the U.S. as well as special trips to England and Wales, where her parents were born. Marjorie worked intermittently spending a number of years in the swimming pool industry. She enjoyed family visits, a glass of wine, Springridge Farm, the Dutch Mill's sandwiches and Christmas shop, Jeopardy! and many a good book.
