THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT HOPE IN HIGH HEELS BOYS AND MEN STAND UP AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE Hope in High Heels is an event for everyone. Pink high heels are not manda- tory but if you'd like the challenge, Halton Women's Place can arrange for you to pick up a pair. 1.) Hope in High Heels — the annual walkathon that encourages boys and men thee to be a part of the solution in ending violence against women — is back witha hy- brid version Sept. 24. 2.) This year, Hope in High Heels gives individu- als the oppo: walk throughout the week of Sept. 18 to 24 on their own, or join in person at Civic Square in front of Burling- ton n city hall on Sept. 24at10 3) Although the main campaign is to highlight thei f gender-based violence and joining as allies in violence prevention, anyone can register and participate. 4.)
