(A) Every institution named in said sche-- dule A shall so have and recsive twenty cents for each day's actual treatment and stay of every patient admitted to or being within such last montioned institu-- tion during the fcalendar year next preced-- ing the year for which such aid is given:-- (B ) Every institution named in said Scha-- dule B shall so have and recelve fiva cants for each day's actual lodgment and maintenance this Province, should be given ,to charitable institutions hitherto receiving public aid, and named in schedules A, B, and C, upon the terms and under the provisions of this and the following resolations. 2. That it is expedient to provide that in case of public moneys being appropriated for such pu:so.u by this House, every insti-- tution named in said schedules complying with the requirements of any Act in that behalf, and of all orders made thereunder, by the Lieutenant Governor in Council shall, from and after said thirty--first day of De: cember, receive in each year aid from such moneys to the extent and am>unt following, such aid is given, _ (C.) Every institution named in said sche-- dule C shall so have and recaive one and a half cents for each day's actual lodgment and maintenance thercin of any orphan or ne,glected and abandonad child during the calendar year next preceding that for which such ald is given, therein of any indigzent person during the calendar yoar next preceeding that for which this Province, institutions i:: other corporations, as well as private indivi-- duals, should be stimulated and encouraged to give a liberal aupfort to such institutions, therefore that, from and aftor the thirty-- first day of December in the year of our Lord one thousandeight hundred and seventy-- four, aid from the public funds or moneys of 8. That it is expedient to provide that i{ there be a residus of the moneys so appro: priated, because of the sams being more than sufficient to pay the sums payable to the said institutions as aforesaid, then every of the said institutions named in said schedunles which masy not be entitled to receive under the foregoing provisions the sum sot op%osite its name in said schedules, and beinvc the sum heretofore granted there-- ard being the sum heretofore granted there-- to, shall receive out of the said residue such an amount by way of supplementary aid as will make the total aid received by such in-- stitutions equal to the eaid sum so set oppo--: stitutions equal to the earid sum so set op?o- site its name, if such residue is sufficient for that purpose; or if insufficlent, then such pro-- portiotn thereof as the said residue will per-- mit of. 8. That it is expedient to provide that the Iieutenant Governor in Council may, by order in Council, direct that any institution so receiving aid shall not thereafter receive any such aid, and that thareupon, and whilst such order remains un revoked, such last--mentioned institution shall not be entitled to or receive any further aid from the public moneys of the Provincs, but that upon report of :the said Inspector disclosing good and sufficient grounds in that bebalf, it 5nllbe competent for the Lion:-- tenant--Governor in Council to revoke any such last mentioned order by a like Order in Council, and thereafter, such institution shall again receive public ald as if the Order in Council firstly in this resolution mentioned had not been made, and that if at any time, upon report of said Inspector, it shall be found that any institution of the character named in schedule A is insufficient or with-- out the necessary and proper accommoda: tion or requirements for one of its nature and objects, the Lieutenant--Covernor in Couacil shall thereupon make such Order as is firstly in this resolution mentioned.
