'The scene was not a very impressive one. The late-- ness of the session had left but & slim ttendance of members even for the closing ays, and most of those who had remained ill Friday evening had taken the early trains to their homes. The members of the Opposition particularly were conspicu-- ous by their absence, Mr. Hammell acting as leader, constituting his own rank and file during the brief formal session that preceded prorogation, though onecor two others came in afterwards. The Govern-- ment was liberally represented, the At-- torney--General being present, the star of 8t Michael and St. George upon his breast also Hon. A. 8. Hardy, Hon. G,. W. Ross, Hon,. J. M. Gibson and Hon, Jolhn Dryden. There was also a sprinkling of -- Liberal -- members. Of course thoere was no business done during the sitting that cpened at 2.30, and not two minutes elapsed before the sitting was adjcurned. Then there was a waip until 3 o'clock, when his Honor the Lieu+ tenant--Governor entered, _clad in official uniform, and supported by Commander Law, AD.C., and Capt. Arthur Kirkpat-- rick, son of the Lieuterant--Governer. BILLS OF THE SESSION.
