The member for 'East Toronto would not accept the challenge, and then endeavored to di-- vert attention to a matter wholly for-- eign to the subject under discussion. Mr. Bridgland of Muskoka subse-- quently made an excellent speech, and Mr. McLaughiin of Stormont occupied the balance of the time until G o'clock.
