The latter part' of the evening was spent in Commit-i tee of Supply. , Toronto v. tho Gas C'ompany. _ The Attotmoy-G'enrsva1 will introd'iee a bill respecting the enforcement of certain contracts entered into nith municipal corporations. The object of the measure is to enable, a municipal 'corporation to take proceedings to pn- iorce obligations either in favor of the 'corporation or of the inhabitants of a 'city, and to obtain the. same relief to tin some extent as if the Attorney- Ceneral Were a party plaintiff.
