On motion of Mr. N. W Rowell, leader of the Opposition seconded by Hon. Dr. Pyno, Minister of ~Education, the Legislature yester day decided to appoint a Select Com-- mittee to consider the matter, and to co--operate with any committee thai may be appointed by the Dominion Parliament. In speaking to his resolution, Mi Rowell urged the development of a truly Canadian national spirit. Ther should be no such people as English Canadians, Irish--Canadians, Ncottish Canadians or French--Canadians, said he,.
