One Act Introduced to Cod, soiidate Existing t Legislation l Legislation which will tend toward the simplification of the law with,' respect lo the preparation and revi- sion of voters' lists was introduced in the Legislature by Premier Drury yesterday. The measure, together with three others before the House, is to be dealt with by a committee. According to the Premier's expla- nation, the bill is intended to set out :in one act the law with respect to the preparation and revision of vot- ers lists as it now stands, both for . municipalities and territory without municipal organization, so that when the bill is passed it may be printed in pamphlet form and distributed to the municipal officials who are con- cerned in the making up ot the lists. Proposed changes. said the Pre- mier, were entirely in the interest of greater simplicity and savirg of up pense and trouble. For example. the sending out of quantities of voters', lists lo persons who may be dead, or who have no further interest in the, eloo,tora1 district, has caused a. great: deal of expense and trouble.
